Making a real impact, every day

At Ipsen, we want our people to thrive. Our aim is to ensure that we create a passionate, healthy and diverse team that supports each other, as well as our partners and the communities we serve. We believe all employees should be treated fairly, and we work diligently to optimise the health, safety and well-being of our teams.

Our approach in this area is based on three core principles:

  • Caring for our teams and communities – an employer of choice, promoting wellbeing, health and safety, and access to benefits, and engagement with our communities.
  • Nurturing and rewarding all talent – through programmes of upskilling, collaboration and positive engagement, and recognition.
  • Embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion – promoting an inclusive culture, valuing our people’s uniqueness and driving fairness through equitable processes.

How we support our people and our communities

We opened our London Paddington site in April 2024 and joined the Paddington Partnership, a voluntary organisation comprised of the major developers and companies in Paddington, working together to bring social benefit to the Paddington community.

In September 2024 Ipsen volunteers took to the water in an electric GoBoat for a two-hour clean-up from Paddington Basin along the Grand Union and Little Venice Canal. Armed with rubbish bags and litter pickers, they removed surface litter and debris trapped in vegetation along the bank. A few days later, Ipsen colleagues visited the Penfold Community Hub to provide companionship and promote biodiversity. The hub, home to around fifty-five tenants, including those with dementia and physical disabilities, offers various activities for people aged fifty-plus in Westminster. Our volunteers hosted a workshop where residents and community members created bird boxes and environmental decorations. These were displayed in the Penfold Garden or taken home, adding a touch of nature. The event was a success, fostering companionship and biodiversity.

We take pride in being a top-tier workplace, consistently recognised for our commitment to excellence and employee wellbeing. Below are the most recent awards Ipsen have achieved in the U.K. & Ireland.
