Diphereline® (triptorelin pamoate or acetate)
An analog of the natural gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), halting the production of sexual hormones. It is used for the:
- Treatment of high-risk localized, locally advanced or metastatic prostate cancer
- Treatment of endometriosis
- Treatment of uterine fibromyomas prior to surgery (Diphereline® P.R. 3.75mg only)
- Treatment of central precocious puberty (CPP) (before 8 years in girls and 10 years in boys)
- Adjuvant treatment in combination with tamoxifen or an aromatase inhibitor for women at high risk of recurrence of endocrine-responsive early-stage breast cancer (Diphereline® P.R. 3.75mg only)
