Somatuline® Autogel® (lanreotide acetate)
A synthetic (analog) version of the natural hormone somatostatin, which is found naturally in the human body. It is used for the treatment of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) and acromegaly, as well as the symptoms associated with neuroendocrine, (particularly carcinoid) tumors.
