As biologists are beginning to break away from the reductionist view that has prevailed for the past 50 years, they are discovering the complexity of the systems approach and acquiring new tools to study it. With its partners from the famous Salk Institute in La Jolla and the top scientific journal Nature, the Fondation IPSEN has organised a series of annual meetings that tackle this new way of thinking.
